Agent Cole Fletcher lives for his job at the FBI, and he’s more than ready for his next assignment—raiding a cult compound and putting their leader behind bars. But he isn’t prepared for Savannah and her knock you on your ass good looks. At nineteen, she’s too old for foster care and too damaged to live on her own. With nowhere else to go, and against his better judgement Cole takes her in.

But helping her out won’t be easy. He comforts her through screaming nightmares and escaping the lingering fears of her past, but that’s the easy part. Her preference to sleep cuddled up next to his warm body, and her desire to please him in every way makes her harder and harder to resist.

The Review: As most of you know I'm a fan of NA books. Sometimes the story can be pretty repetitive and there isn't a lot of change between authors. But that's fine, because if you enjoyed it the first time, you know you'll like it again and again.

Kendall. I love Kendall and I love her books. This one was a good one, one I enjoyed a lot. I liked the concept of the story, a broken girl, an FBI agent. I liked that Cole let her into his life, into his apartment and then tried to 'resist' her, with little to no success.

Kendall Ryan really has a way with developing her characters, and the story develops right along with it. I loved the close connection that Cole and Savannah eventually formed after spending days and nights together. Savannah is broken and you feel her emotions through everything, and you can't help but fall in love with Cole.

I thoroughly enjoyed Resisting Her, and although it's been a few months since I read this to writing the review I still remember the awesomeness of it, and Kendall is truly a wonderful storyteller, who never disappoints. She brings life to her characters, and essence of everything into her story. It's hard to not get stuck completely into her stories.

Highly recommended to anyone that enjoys the damsel in distress/saved by a knight story. With passionate sex :)

Note: Due to sexual scenes, violence and language. This book is recommended for 17+ years.

Needing an escape from her past, Avery chooses a college where no one knows her. Keeping a low profile was the plan, falling for the intense frat boy, Jase wasn’t. Yet she can’t deny how alive she feels when he’s near. Even as common sense implores her to stay away, her body begs her to get closer.

Jase, numb from his own family drama, has grown bored with weekends fueled by nameless girls and countless bottles when he meets Avery. Helping her cope with her past is better than dealing with the bullshit his own life’s served up. Determined to drive away the painful secret she’s guarding, he appoints himself her life coach, and challenges her to new experiences. Getting close to her and being the one to make her smile are simply perks of the job.

But when Avery’s past boldly saunters in, refusing to be forgotten, can Jase live with the truth about the girl he’s fallen for?

Recommended for 17+ due to mature themes and sexual content.

The Review: "I want this girl. I want her for my own. End of story. The world can fuck off for all I care. She's mine." ~Jase

Another great story from Kendall Ryan, she is becoming a favourite of mine. This is another great book filled with explosive characters and a sexy as hell male.

I've said many a time that there's only so much of the same story that is written in a NA book, just with good character development, a great story, love, betrayal, trust all rolled into one, The Impact of You makes for a great read.

I pretty much read this in a few days, Kendall Ryan, like a lot of NA authors manages to suck you into their stories from the start, and you just want more as each chapter ends and another begins.

Avery as a character was great, she is running away from a past hoping that it won't catch up to her and she can just get through college unscaved. As a character she was strong to a certain extent,  but also scared of a lot because of that past. Enter Jase. Jase is our man whore of the story, one that is now fed up of moving from female to female, and he and Avery are pared up together in their human sexuality class. I really loved this for the story, it made for some great moments, some funny ones, and eventually some hot scenes with the both of them. Both Avery and Jase develop as the story unfolds, and both learn from each other.

Once everything comes to blows with Avery's past, the story really leaves you reeling for a while and you simply can't have enough. One of the best things about Kendall's writing is that when things come to light for Avery and Jase, you really feel for her, for both of them. It made the story believable and you could most definitely see where each were coming from.

Overall The Impact of You is a perfect little read if you're looking for a little angst, a little love, some sex, some betrayal, some questionable trust issues etc, if that is your cup of tea, then  I recommend you pick up this book. If you haven't already read a book by Kendall Ryan, then this is a good one to start with.

I can't wait for her next release. Bravo Kendall Ryan....bravo.

Cade’s always taken risks…

Cade takes cares of his sick younger sister by doing what he does best--cage fighting and starring in adult movies, his newest harebrained moneymaking scheme designed to pay for his sister’s growing medical bills. But when his latest gig finds him admitted to the ER sporting an erection from hell, thanks to the little pill given to him by the director, he can’t get the pretty little nurse who treated him out of his head, even though he knows she’s so far out of his league it should be illegal.

Alexa’s always played it safe…

Tired of being pigeonholed as the sweet, innocent one, hardworking nursing student Alexa has been looking for ways to break out of her Goody Two-shoes image. When her friend suggests the outlandish idea of losing her virginity to the sexy and sure-to-be-skilled porn star, Alexa is mortified. But then when Cade refuses her proposition, she finds herself pissed off and embarrassed. When she tracks him down to give him a piece of her mind, she isn’t prepared for what she finds. Watching him care for his little sister tugs at her heart, and suddenly it’s no longer just about losing her virginity, but about helping Cade. Because Lord help her, she might actually be falling for a porn star…

The Review: A good girl, bad boy porn star with some steamy passion? Wow! This was right up my street!

Hard to Love is a story that I believe is done very tastefully. I have to admit I was worried to start with because Cade, the main character is a porn star. I didn't know how much detail the author was going to take the story, but she does it so well. What I liked was that Cade never intended to be a porn star and at the start of the book and we see him go on his first shoot - which is more than uncomfortable for him. It's only when he takes a drug that will help him perform better start the problems. The side effects of the drug lasts longer than it's supposed to, leading Cade to seek medical advice at the hospital. It's there he meets Alexa - a nursing student who he can't deny his attraction to.

Alexa is used to dealing with weird situations every day while working the midnight shift at the hospital. But when Cade walks in it's something she's never seen before. It's only when she bumps into him in a night club a few days later that she realises she wants something a little bit more from Cade - she wants him to become the first man she ever sleeps with.....but can she really go through with it?

At 184 pages long - accordingly to my kindle, Hard to Love is a pretty quick read. It's actually one of the things that made me enjoy this story so much because it was so fast paced and not once did it drag out. Kendall Ryan gave you all the information you needed, no matter how long the story was and I appalled her for not trying to make it longer because it honestly didn't need it.  What I really enjoyable about this story was Kendall's ability to drag me in from the very first pages. Her writing is fresh and captivating and there's just so many swoon worthy quotes, oh and the sex, wow. Seriously hot!

Cade easily was my favourite character. I felt I connected with him more than I did Alexa. Sometimes I felt Alexa's reactions didn't seem very realistic to the situations she was in but, still I believe she was a perfect fit for Cade. Both from different lifestyles but somehow they still tried to make things work between them. But back to Cade, I felt he was more real because he would do anything for his little sister and well, featuring in adult films - no matter how much he hates it, just proves he would do anything.

All in all, Hard to Love is a story that will capture your heart and leave you turning the pages until the very last page.

Thank you AToMR Tours for giving me the opportunity to review this book.
