An unforgettable love story that breaks all the rules.

When Tate Collins finds airline pilot Miles Archer passed out in front of her apartment door, it is definitely not love at first sight. In fact, they wouldn't even consider themselves friends. But what they do have is an undeniable mutual attraction.

He doesn't want love and she doesn't have time for a relationship, but their chemistry cannot be ignored. Once their desires are out in the open, they realise they have the perfect set-up, as long as Tate can stick to two rules - never ask about the past and don't expect a future.

Tate convinces herslelf she's ok with it, but soon realises that it's harder than she thought. Will she be able to say no to her sexy pilot when he lives just next door?

This new romance from Colleen Hoover will have you laughing and crying in equal measure - definitely her best book yet!

The Review: “I’m not Tate when I’m near Miles. I’m liquid, and liquid doesn’t know how to be firm and stand up for itself. Liquid flows. That’s all I want to do with Miles. Flow.” - Tate

I didn’t want Ugly Love to be better than Maybe Someday. I didn’t want to love it more. But it’s simply impossible because Ugly Love is a stunning read!

When Tate Collins and Miles Archer first meet, they can’t hide the instant attraction they feel for one another. The problem is Miles has had a difficult past and for that reason he’s as closed off as ever. Because Mile's is not willing to let anyone close and certainly not willing to fall in love with anyone, it’s how they realize that they can have what they want with each other but without all the feelings of a relationship – so just sex, no feelings. But the more Tate gets to know Miles she can’t help but wish for more. But how can Tate get through Miles coat of armour without him running away from her? But more importantly can Tate come out of this without a broken heart?

I’m amazed and in complete awe of Colleen Hoover. Ugly Love utterly blew me away and I was totally wasn’t prepared for that. I didn’t think anything could beat Maybe Someday but this was just, wow. Completely moving and deeply heart-breaking, Ugly Love has a way of hooking you from the very start and then not letting go until you’re a broken mess with emotions flying all over the place. It's written beautifully and full of suspense and a complete fantastic read!

Tate is a fantastic character. She’s loving and caring and a little bit feisty and knows what she wants too. It’s like when she meets Miles, she knows she’s in trouble but no matter what she does, she can’t stay away. Miles, it's just impossible not to love him. Even through all the times he is with Tate you can see how much he feels for her but clearly doesn't wasn't to admit. He’s a man of little words but I think that adds to the mystery of his character. I love that is such a lovable guy, even though he’s trying to protect himself you can feel what he’s feeling – it’s heart-breaking.

It’s impossible not to fall head over in love with both Tate and Miles. With the dual narratives, it was great to get into both heads but I guess what I didn’t expect was for the twists on how the story was written. We get Tate’s present story but Mile’s past story which I guess that makes sense because Mile’s is the one with all the issues, but it just worked so well within the story that it adds the excitement and the emotional side of the story. But when Mile’s story finally catches up with his present story, oh gosh, the tingles… just be prepared!

Overall, Ugly Love is another exceptional novel by Colleen Hoover and I can only wish and hope for more from this very talented author.

“I didn’t fall in love with you, Tate. I flew.” Miles
