Kate and Vincent have overcome the odds and at last they are together in Paris, the city of lights and love.

As their romance deepens there’s one question they can’t ignore: How are they supposed to be together if Vincent can’t resist sacrificing himself to save others? Although Vincent promises that he’ll do whatever it takes to lead a normal life with Kate, will that mean letting innocent people die? When a new and surprising enemy reveals itself, Kate realizes that even more may be at stake—and that Vincent’s immortality is in jeopardy.

In Die for Me, Amy Plum created a captivating paranormal mythology with immortal revenants and a lush Paris setting. Until I Die is poised to thrill readers with more heart-pounding suspense, spellbinding romance, and a cliff-hanger ending that will leave them desperate for the third and final novel in the series.

The Review: When I read Die for Me last year, I fell in love with Amy Plum and her writing. This was no different. Although I had a hard time getting into the book; I found it a little slow to start, and nothing seemed to be happening for a while. There was a lot of history on the Revenants, which I felt probably would have worked better in book 1, but none the less, I plodded along and kept at it, and in the end, I loved it! I loved it so much.

Until I Die turned out better than I thought it would. It's always hard to follow up with a second book when the first one was so amazing. But Amy Plum managed to pull it off, and after I got over my sluggish feeling (I think mostly because I wasn't in the mood) I couldn't get enough. I was sucked back into the Revenant world, wanting to help Kate and Vincent find a way to help their situation with Vincent's constant urge to die for someone.
<
After a slow start Until I Die became amazing and I couldn't get enough of it. It  ended up being super exciting, we were introduced to new characters, and I was pretty much set on the bad guy, but I was completely wrong, although not completely shocked when they were revealed.  Which brings me to that cliffhanger of an ending. WHHHAAATT??! Amy Plum did you really leave us like that?! It completely killed me, and I really need book 3. Like NOW!

Honestly, after reading this, and loving it, I'd recommend this series to anyone looking for something new in the paranormal genre. You'll fall right in love with the characters, you'll always be craving more, more, more.

I thought this to be a bit too slow-paced and uneventful in the beginning, too, but was really glad when I realized that it picked up. Can't wait for the third book now after that mean ending. I'm glad you enjoyed it, too, Jess!

I pretty much said the same thing about the cliffhanger at the end when I reviewed it in April! It was a really good read, and I wasn't stuck at the start for that long which meant it wasn't enough for me to mark it down! I gave it a 5/5 rating!
