When Jacqueline follows her long time boyfriend to the college of his choice, the last thing she expects is a breakup. After two weeks in shock, she wakes up to her new reality: she’s single, attending a state university instead of a music conservatory, ignored by her former circle of friends, stalked by her ex’s frat brother, and failing a class for the first time in her life.

 <
Her econ professor gives her an email address for Landon, the class tutor, who shows her that she’s still the same intelligent girl she’s always been. As Jacqueline becomes interested in more from her tutor than a better grade, his teasing responses make the feeling seem mutual. There’s just one problem—their only interactions are through email.
<
Meanwhile, a guy in her econ class proves his worth the first night she meets him. Nothing like her popular ex or her brainy tutor, Lucas sits on the back row, sketching in a notebook and staring at her. At a downtown club, he disappears after several dances that leave her on fire. When he asks if he can sketch her, alone in her room, she agrees—hoping for more.
<
Then Jacqueline discovers a withheld connection between her supportive tutor and her seductive classmate, her ex comes back into the picture, and her stalker escalates his attention by spreading rumors that they’ve hooked up. Suddenly appearances are everything, and knowing who to trust is anything but easy.

Author Recommendation: Mature Young Adults (language, drinking, sexual situations)

The Review: "So I don't want you to feel pressured. Or overpowered. But I do, absolutely, want to kiss you right now. Badly." ~Lucas

This book was so amazing! I wish it hadn't ended. It's one of those books that should have carried the characters story on in another book. But as a standalone book it had all the perfect elements you could want. A great heroine, a swoon worthy hero, a good plot, excellent secondary characters, and a happy ever after.
<
I was completely hooked with Easy from page one. From that incredible start, through to the amazing middle and the completely perfect ending I just completely devoured it. Jacqueline is a great heroine, she's so strong and independent. She doesn't take any crap from anyone and after her boyfriend of three years dumps her, she moves on. Sure it takes her 2 weeks and a missed midterm but with the help of her best friend Erin (who's too awesome for words), tutor Landon, and the swoony Lucas, Jacqueline finds a new version of herself that she just loves. Speaking of Lucas! He made me catch my breath so many times I lost count. He's just, I can't even. His and Jacqueline relationship was beautifully built up and they had such great chemistry that it sent shivers and made my heart leap any time they were on the page together.
<
The story and the plot itself was well thought out and dealt with real issues. It was beautifully handled, and the mystery revolving around Lucas was well written. I didn't think of it to begin with but then I started piecing things together and as soon as it was revealed I couldn't help but revel in the fact that I had guessed it.
<
Easy is most definitely one of my favourites of 2012 so far. If you're looking for a book with a great protagonist, a swoony hero and well thought out plot that easily kept you wanting more and more, then pick up Easy, it's simply incredible, and I really wished it hadn't ended. I wanted more of these two, and definitely more Lucas. Easy is fun and witty, romantic and completely kick ass that will just leave you wanting so much more!
<
Note: This book is recommended for the mature YA due to sexual situations and harsh language.

THIS BOOK WAS IS SOOOO GOOD!!!!!!!!!! 5 stars doesn't even cover it... oh my gosh. I love this book. I don't really read much out of paranormal and fantasy genres, but this book, for contemp, was really good. I also don't usually like books involving rape or involving attempted rape, but with this book, it just flowerd. Everything went so well with everything else. I loved it. This book took me by surprise. People who like Beautiful Disaster by Jamie McGuire will like this book even more. Thanks for the review!!!!
