Release Date: October 16th, 2012
Publishers:Entangled Publishing

When a Six saved Kale's life the night of Sumrun, she warned there would be consequences. A trade-off. Something taken for the life they gained. But Dez never imagined she'd lose the one thing she'd give anything to keep... And as if it's not enough Dez finds her immunity to Kale fading, the Six brought in to help Kale learn to control his killer touch starts drooling on him the moment they meet. Worse than that? Jade can touch Kale. But bimbo Barbie is the least of Dez's problems.

After Dez and Kale got away at Sumrun, her father lost not only his most powerful weapon but an important piece of the Supremacy project. Forced by Denazen to remedy the situation, he poisons Dez and offers her a choice--surrender to Denazen for the cure...or die. Determined to find a solution that doesn't involve being bagged and tagged--or losing someone she loves--Dez keeps the poison a secret. But when a rash of Denazen attacks hit a little too close to home, Dez is convinced there's a traitor among them. Jade.

Sacrifices, broken promises, and secrets. Dez will have to lay it all on the line if there's any hope of proving Jade's guilt before they all end up Residents of Denazen. Or worse, dead..

Jus AccardoAuthor Interview with Jus Accardo.

Hey guys, this is will be the second time we've had Jus Accardo on our blog, so if you missed her first interview, check it out HERE. Otherwise, please welcome Jus!

Jus: Hey Donna! Thanks for letting me hang :D

Donna: Hey Jus, so can you tell me what inspired you to write the Touch series?
Coffee. Seriously. I was on line to get coffee when I got the idea. It was all very random and totally unplanned.

Do you have a favourite place to write?
Well, up until a month ago, I’d been working off my dining room table. My husband surprised me though, and converted one of our spare rooms into an office. I was leery at first—I’m totally a creature of habit and didn’t think a change of scenery would work—but two days in and I couldn’t  imagine working anyplace else. It’s like my own little cave in here :D I have dry erase boards everywhere! (I’m obsessed with them. Really. It’s a disease…)

Were there any challenges writing Toxic?
I think the biggest thing was the fear it wouldn’t live up to TOUCH. The first book in the series did so much better than I could have possibly imagined. It was amazing, but also a little intimidating…

We love the cover for Toxic but what are your thoughts?
It’s amazing! When writing Dez, I had Avril Lavigne in mind. She’s perfect, right? When I found out they were going to put a girl on the cover, I was a little worried—but cover Dez is awesome! She and cover Kale make a pretty epic couple.

Which character is the most fun to write about?
Ooo. That’s a really tough one. Kale was a blast because of his innocence, and Dez was so much fun because I’m a sucker for snark and rebellion. Then there was Alex…and Ginger…and Dax… Yeah no way. I so can’t pick!

So book three - Is it wrote? Is there a name?
Book three is titled TREMBLE and it’s in edits as we speak.

Are you working on any other books?
I am *evil grin* And I should be able to tell you about it verrry soon :D

What's your favourite quote from Toxic?
“I’d smack you stupid if someone hadn’t already beaten me to it.” A million guesses who says this—and who they say it to!
