My Book Boyfriend (#4): Jericho Barrons

My Book Boyfriend is a weekly meme, hosted by Missie at The Unread ReaderWhat is My Book Boyfriend you might ask.  Well it is a weekly meme where we talk about a literary crush including stats, a picture of what you imagine he looks like and some quotes from him that make you swoon.  If you are interested in participating please check out the My Book Boyfriend Introduction Page over at Missie's blog The Unread Reader.

So seen as I (Jess) am such a fictional man perv, Donna has let this be my weekly post. But I'm to let her know when I do Ash of the Iron Fey series. So this weeks My Book Boyfriend, I wanted to do someone we're featuring in our Battle of the sexes contest...Jericho Barrons from the Fever Series.

Barrons' Stats:
Status: Owner of Barrons Books and Baubles (possibly non-human) and later becomes MacKayla Lane's love interest
Height: 6'3
Eyes: Dark but sometimes crimson when angry or turned on
Hair: Dark Brown
Physical Description:  Dark, brooding, tall, golden skin, full mouth, strong and chiseled features intensely handsome, sexual and has a omnipresent carnality about him. Wears impeccable Italian suits, his shirt always crisp and white.
(Model-David Gandy)

"Four: If you try to force yourself into my head, I will force myself into your pants"

"We're translating the Kama Sutra...with interactive aids."

“You're Mac,” he says. “And I'm Jericho. And nothing else matters. Never will. You exist in a place that is beyond all rules for me. Do you understand that?”

What do you all think of Jericho Barrons? Have you read the Fever Series?

Thanks to Missie for hosting this great meme.

Tune in next Wednesday for another installment of My Book Boyfriend.

Noooooooooo! Barrons is MINE! LOL.

I love Barrons. He is the ultimate bad boy. And those quotes make me want to go re-read the series again. And the model you picked is delicious :)

Model is David Gandy! He's my Barrons, the only problem is David Gandy actually has blue eyes, so I had to find images that didn't focus on his eyes so much.
P.S Barrons is MINE!

Jericho Barrons is... well, he's yummy.
And as much as I hated Mac, I started off the same way she did by not necessarily being attracted to his masculinity at all. I usually don't like manly men. I like sensitive, but protective ones. But damn it all if he doesn't grow on you. I felt the heat between them by the end of the first book, but I didn't want her to put her foot in the devils waters-- but I did want want her dip in. haha
He was constantly at odds with my feminist ways and beliefs. And then I found myself, like Mac, making excuses for him. Didn't know if he was likeable because of the "nice" things he did (like putting up with Mac) or because I knew he was protective. And he made such valid points. Perhaps it is the man that was doing the owning that made all the difference. Everyone is controlled one way or another, it's the person controlling you that makes you like it or not.
I'm not done with the series yet, I'm on the 4th book. A third through.
But yeah, Jericho's got me. Who new a woman could write the guy I would fall head over heals for. I'll think when I go to Europe, I'll be too inclined to find me my own JZB.
