Ana Belle never wanted anything more than to hang up her apron, jump on her Vespa and ride off into the sunset, leaving Sugartown in the dust.
Elijah Cade never wanted anything more than a hot meal, a side of hot arse and a soft place to lay his head at night where he could forget about his past.
But you know what they say about wanting: you always want what you can’t have.
Nineteen year-old virgin Ana is about to discover that’s not quite true because a six foot three, hotter than hell, tattooed, Aussie sex god just rode into town. He’s had a taste of her pie and he wants more– no really, Ana bakes pies for a living, get your mind out of the gutter.
She’d be willing to hand over everything tied up in a big red bow, there’s just one problem; Elijah has secrets dirtier than last week’s underwear. Secrets that won't just break Ana’s heart, but put her life at risk, too. When those secrets come to light, their relationship is pushed to breaking point.
Add to that a psychotic nympho best friend, an overbearing father, a cuter than humanly possible kid brother, a wanton womanizing cousin, the ex from hell, and more pies than you could poke a ... err ... stick ... at.
And you thought small towns were boring.
Welcome to Sugartown.
*Content Warning. Intended for a mature 18+ audience. Contains explicit sex, oodles of profanity and a crap-tonne of AWKWARD.

The Review: "When I do finally get you naked beneath me - and trust me, it's not a questions of if, but when - I'm going to make sure you haven't so much as looked at a drink. I want you to remember everything I do with my hands and my lips and my tongue."
Well I totally didn’t expect that! I went into Welcome to Sugartown assuming it would be an easy and fun new adult story, however was I in for a surprise. Welcome to Sugartown is a deep and dark story hidden under a fun and eye-catching cover – one that I absolutely loved. I definitely believe debut author Carmen Jenner could give author Madeline Sheehan a run for her money, with the whole biker story.
Nineteen-year-old Ana has run her families homemade pie shop since her mother passed away – however even though she loves her family and the shop, she would love to leave it all behind and start fresh somewhere. It’s not until bad boy biker, Elijah Cade starts working with her father, that she finally finds a reason to stay. However, Elijah comes with hidden secrets – secrets that Ana wants to unravel, but once she does, she wishes she hadn’t.
I’m still in shock how awesome this book was, not that I went into it with low expectations but usually when I come across a book that is emotional or shocking, I’m prepared for it. Well, I so wasn’t prepared for this book – I actually feel a little mislead (but in such a good way) and honestly I’m glad I am! Carmen Jenner did an awesome job – BRAVO!
I immediately loved Ana – she’s a firecracker of a character and fun too. She was easy to relate to at the start of the story, but as the story progresses and things start happening to her, she changes and grows, and even though I couldn’t relate to her at that point, I was very much emotionally attached to her. She’s constantly getting knocked down, but she always gets back up (I loved that) and her pies….*drools*….her actual homemade pies that she sells in the shop, sound totally to die for! Yum!
And Elijah *drools* He’s a pretty package all wrapped up but, once you get him unwrapped, he’s a bad boy – but you don’t see me complaining *wink wink*. He’s done things you and I wouldn’t even dream of doing, and even though he’s got secrets, he does try to be as honest as possible when it counts. He’s loving and caring and he doesn’t always do the right thing, but you can rely on him no matter what.
The story line was pretty darn awesome! There was so many twists - ones that you know by now, I wasn't expecting at all. It was emotional and gritty and at times, scary. It has fun moments and lovable ones - you can see in all, I really did love this book and I believe it has a little bit for everyone.
Overall, Welcome to Sugartown was a very welcoming read - one I completely and totally loved and I can't wait for more. And lastly ,welcome to Sugartown!
