Woods had his perfect life mapped out for him. Rise up the ranks of the family business. Marry the rich girl of his parents’ dreams. Pretend that wealth and privilege was all he’d ever wanted. Then a girl named Della breezed into town, a beautifully imperfect stranger who captured his heart and opened his eyes to a new kind of future. Woods is ready and willing to sacrifice everything for her when the sudden death of his father leaves him with his mother to care for and a business to manage.

Della is determined to be strong for Woods, even as she’s quietly falling to pieces. No matter how far from home she’s run, the ghosts of her past have never stopped haunting her. Struggling to hide her true feelings from Woods, Della fears she can’t be his rock without dragging him down into the darkness with her. But is she strong enough to let go of the last thing holding her together?

The Review: Wow. Just wow. I'm at a loss for words with this book. I went in with such high hopes as I always do with an Abbi book, and I tell you I wasn't disappointed at all!

Simple Perfection picks up where Twisted Perfection left off. We are back with Woods and Della and they are still working through all their crap trying to be strong for each other, which is hard when Della gets her black outs and has her bat shit crazy moments. I was addicted to this book from the beginning, I couldn't put it down and it didn't disappoint at all.

One thing about Abbi is she knows how to write a story, and sure, some of her characters are quite similar but you're still there with them through all their messed up stuff! It felt so great to be back with Woods and Della, and through all the mess that happens they really both come through the end two stronger people.

The writing was great, the story was brilliant, the twists were a shocker, especially the second one, Simple Perfection is full of love, strength, misunderstandings, and eventually togetherness.

Everything was perfect about this latest instalment from Abbi, if you've been following the stories of the Rosemary Beach rich kids then around the 80% mark you'll probably want to die, because your heart will hurt so much for all of them not just this one particular person. It was a big twist, a twist I didn't understand or see coming to begin with, but then it was explained and later revealed (in a roundabout sort of way) why it was done, and now I understand where Abbi will be taking her story with regards to character development and parings. It hurts, but it's clear why it had to happen. This is one of the things about Abbi and her stories, she really knows how to hit you with her twists, and really has her characters thought out and knows where she wants to take them. You think you have your fix with an Abbi book, but then she'll go and do something or introduce a few new characters and BAM you want more.

Overall Simple Perfection was a fantastic ending for Woods and Della, and I'm so pleased they have their HEA after overcoming so much in their first two books. I really look forward to seeing more of them in the future books that Abbi has install for these kids!

If you still haven't read an Abbi book, then pick them up, they're wonderful and they really keep you hooked and on the edge. There is so much emotion in all of them, that it's a wonder you keep it together!

5 fantastic stars from me!
