Welcome to Book Passion for Life's 47th US vs UK book cover battle.
The idea of this battle is once a week we'll post 2 sets of books of our choice, one US cover and one UK cover, and we'll just give our opinion on which one we love the most. Which cover captures the story, which one would catch our eye if we saw it on the shelf in a shop. The US cover will be on the left, and the UK cover will be on the right.

Jess says: Oooh. I've heard of this one, and I remember Donna reading it. I'm not sure which one fits the story as I haven't read it, what I do know is that I definitely love the US cover a lot more than the UK. It's just so beautiful.
Donna says: I loved this book and while I think that both covers fit the book so well, I actually prefer the US cover. It's so dark and inviting and I love the purple dress the girl is wearing.

Jess says: Hmm...I'm not sure I like either, but if I had to choose, I would definitely pick the UK cover. It's a lot more eye catching.
Donna says: I've got this book coming up soon for review and I have to say, the US cover is horrid. The UK cover is so colourful compared to it and it makes me want to pick it up and read it.

US for Hemlock and UK for Seraphina
I prefer the US cover for Hemlock... and can't decide for Seraphina! Both are pretty horrid looking. :P
Definitely the US cover for Hemlock! The UK one is ugly :( and I don't really like either for Seraphina but I'd probably go for the US cover. The UK one just looks... messy, haha.
US for Hemlock but UK for Seraphina, the brighter colours are so much nicer :)
I like US cover for Hemlock - it's more eyecatching. I cannot decide for Seraphina - I like the old-timey feel to the US one, but I also think the UK one looks awesome :)
I much prefer the US cover for Hemlock although the UK one is growing on me which is good as thats the one I'll be getting, I'm not keen on either cover for the other book!

US cover from Hemlock, definitely! I love the coloring and it's very eye-catching.
From Seraphine.... hmm, hard to choose, but I think I like the UK cover more!
ahh Hemlock I deff agree, I LOVE the US cover!! So pretty, but the UK one is pretty too (: and as for Seraphina...what is up with that horrid cover by the US!?!? UGH UK cover deff is prettier (: I love the dragon eye, and all the red tones (:
