Welcome to Book Passion for Life's 37th US vs UK book cover battle. We've seen this posted on a few other blogs, and thought we'd jump on the band wagon!
The idea of this battle is once a week we'll post 2 sets of books of our choice, one US cover and one UK cover, and we'll just give our opinion on which one we love the most. Which cover captures the story, which one would catch our eye if we saw it on the shelf in a shop. The US cover will be on the left, and the UK cover will be on the right.

Jess says: Both of these are great, but I prefer the US one, because it matches my Unearthly cover lol. And I like matchy matchy when it comes to books.

Donna says: I really like both of these covers but I'm going to choose the UK cover. Mainly because I feel it fits better with the actual story plus Clara is blonde due to her Angel and the US cover shows a brown haired colour. So UK for me.

Donna says: Wow, this is a hard one for me because I'm not over fond of either of the covers. BUT if I was to buy a copy I'd go with the US cover. The UK one is pretty creepy where as the US is not plus I like the blue.
Which do you prefer?

I prefer UK fo Hallowed, I've never liked the US covers. And I like both for Slide, I like the colours in the US one but the creepy of the UK one so I can't choose
Im going with UK for both. I agree with Misty for the US covers for the Unearthly Series I have never liked them. The UK ones are stunning. (So are the AUS ones)
Slide was tougher. At first I prefered the US when I first heard of the book but seeing the UK one in person I loved it. Its really creepy and fits great with the plot. :)

With Slide I prefer the US one ;) UK is creeping me out :p Hih.
But with Hallowed, I like the UK one :) Since I have bought the UK edition of the first and second book ;D Hih ;)
Hallowed: UK. I actually really dislike the US cover and I really like the atmosphere of the UK one.
Slide: US. The UK covers looks creepy, and while that might fit the story, it really turns me off wanting to read the book. The US cover looks so artistic and pretty, I can just keep staring at it!
Hallowed I choose UK. Just because. But Slide? I definitely go w/ US. I mean, what's w/ the creepy one eye bulging thingy. If I have that book besides me on my bed, I'd definitely have nightmares.

Definitely the UK one for both. :) Slide is quite creepy but I still prefer that one.

For Hallowed, it's basically purely because it's clearer, and I prefer the colours, and the UK cover of Slide is creepy, but it catches my eye more!
It's so hard to choose between the Hallowed covers! They are both so pretty, but if I had to pick one, I think the UK cover is just a tiny bit better. But I absolutely HATE the UK cover for Slide! I reckon the US cover is a lot more fitting to the tone of the story, too.

It's so hard to choose between the Hallowed covers, but since I haven't read Hallowed yet or the first book, I know nothing about what would or would not fit with the storyline, so I'm deciding by what looks best to me and that has to be the US cover.
For Slide by Jill Hathaway, I have to go with the UK book cover. It really stands out a lot more than the US book cover does.
