Book Buying Ban Challenge

Hey Everyone,

As you all know I will be taking part in a book buying ban with the lovely Haley from Ya-Aholic and Braiden from Book Probe. The ban will be through-out October AND November. I know right? 2 whole months!

The main reason for our ban is because come on....being honest...we totally OVER SPEND on books.  We just can't help ourselves! We love buying books, it's our passion and only vice but with the holidays coming up and of course our never ending to be read lists, it's time to do something about it. Hence...the two month book ban. I'm sure we can do it. Me personally, if I can make it 2 months, I ideally would like to extend it until Christmas but we'll see how that goes. ;)

Here are some of the books I would like to try and read during the two months ban:

Of course, I will be keeping you all updated along the way. A post at least every one to two weeks depending on what books I've read. And thank you for all your support so far! You all rock! Wish us all luck!

Best of luck, Donna! I'm sure you'll go through these books really quickly :) Keep it till Christmas and buy your loved ones some wonderful presents instead. They can buy you books from your wishlist in turn *wink*

I'm sure we'll all be able to do it (: That's a good idea though, I think if I easily make it threw Oct and Nov I might just go threw till Christmas also (:

Good luck Donna, on the plus side as well as saving ££££'s there are some amazing books there to catch up on, I think you will love the Fever series and Chicagoland vampires and you will ADORE Anna it's full of romance and I know how much you love a good romance!

Good luck Donna! I tried that last month and didn't even make it two weeks...I think it's the idea of knowing that I can't buy any suddenly makes me want to buy loads of books! I might try joining you guys in November but I have a total spending spree on this month. :)

If you had it opened up to everyone I would have to jump into this ban... I have piles and cases of books beckoning to me. Not to mention the books on the kindle and Nook. Oh, my, where would I start. ;)

Good luck. I've put myself on a book buying ban too. I'm trying not to buy any new books for myself (RAK and giveaways not included) until after the 1st of the year. My husband surprised me today for my b-day with a 12 month membership to Audible.com so I've 12 free to me audio books waiting me. So technically I didn't buy them. LOL
