The Review: Sizzling hot, emotional and damn right sexy, The Perfect Play is an unputdownable book once you start reading!
Mick Riley has it all, the perfect life, a fantastic career, and more money that he could possibly need and women throwing themselves at him. However, once Mick meets event planner Tara Lincoln, who is a single mother trying to support her teenage son; he realizes he’s not happy in the life he’s living. He’s missing something and that something is Tara. Once she’s in his life, Mick cannot let her go and continues to peruse her even though she is reluctant. Can Mick get the girl of his dreams he didn’t even know he was waiting for – or will Tara’s reluctant stop them from having the happiness they both deserve.
The Perfect Play was my first venture into Jaci Burton’s work and I have to say, I bloody loved it! At the time of reading this, my last few reads had been just okay, but this blew my socks off and I seriously couldn’t put it down because I found the writing and the story so addictive.
I find the more and more I read of sport related themed books, the more and more I enjoy them, which is weird because I’m not one for watching them on TV. I think it all comes down to how the author corporates the sports into the book and I loved how Jaci worked it within this stories. It was just enough information to keep you entertained throughout and constantly root for Mick.
The main of the story is about the relationship between Mick and Tara – both I loved. Their story was emotional and super intense. And I loved every minute of it.
In all, this was definitely won't be the last Jaci Burton book I read!
Thank you to Headline Eternal for the opportunity to review this book, in exchange for an honest review.

I don't watch sports on TV too but I don't mind reading sports themed books. Great review! Definitely sounds like a good read!
