When Lila and Alex sneak off for a romantic weekend away, Lila’s hoping she’ll finally have a chance to work on Alex’s resolve.

But just as things start heating up news reaches them of a serial killer at loose on the island and it isn’t long before their intimate weekend away is interrupted.

A mind reader, a projector, a protective older brother and a serial killer.

One of them is going to find Lila first. She's hoping it's the serial killer.

Tormenting Lila will delight fans of Hunting Lila while introducing them to the characters and stunning location from Sarah’s next book The Sound (published August 1st, 2013).

The Review: "With Alex's body warming mine and his hands starting to move to their own freewill along the length of me, my ego and every other part of my body felt soothed. I gave myself into his kisses, letting them consume me."

It's safe to say anything Sarah Alderson writes, I'll read. I adore everything about her work and more importantly, I adore the characters from the Lila series. When I found out Tormenting Lila was being released, I was beyond excited, I'd do anything to be back with these characters.

Tormenting Lila is a short story based 8 weeks after the events of Losing Lila and, it's a must read for any fan of the series. Lila and Alex are back and better than ever. They're taking some time out, away from all the crazy and just enjoying each others company.....and not having sex....much to Lila's disappointment (and mine, lol). Like all holiday's though, they have to end and unfortunately they're comes to end sooner rather than later, especially when the rest of the gang show up and a serial killer. Not only do we see, Lila and the gang but Sarah wove in the characters from her new story, The Sound too - which I loved. What a genius idea!! It gives us the chance for a little background story on the new characters, along with the characters we already love. It makes me even more excited for The Sound - (which I've now read and it's totally amazing)

Although I would have wish Tormenting Lila could  have been longer, for obvious reasons, it's still a fantastic read. It reminds me just why I fell in love with this series to start with and why I have it as a favourite of mine. I'd love Sarah to write more books or novella's to this series, I know there's another novella planned, but I need more...I can never have enough of these characters!

So plain and simple, there's nothing not to like about Tormenting Lila and if you need your fix of Lila and Alex, then read this because you won't be disappointed!
Character Interview with Jack!

Don't hold back, tell us how you really feel about your best friend hooking up with your sister?
Just...don't go there OK? I don't like to think about it too much but when they're throwing it in my face every three seconds it's kind of hard to avoid it. Look, Alex is my best friend. I love him but that was not cool. Not cool. At all. At first I was just 'I'm going to kill him' and then I saw that it wasn't going away and that Lila was really into him (like really into him). It was Key who told me I should give them a break - he reminded me we all make our own choices and you know what? I figure it could be worse. Lila could have hooked up with that kid Jonas from my team. At least I know Alex is a good guy. And I also know where he lives so if he does mess with her I have an advantage.

So, we hear you cut a deal with Alex about something? Is it true?
Don't tell Lila but I made Alex promise he'd wait until she was 18 before they er, you know...because, this is how it plays out...guys just want one thing. I'm a guy. I know this for a fact. And I wanted to know he was serious about her. It's not like it's ten years  - just a few months. If they can't wait that long I guess that's telling themselves something about their 'relationship.'

I told him if he waited until she was 18 and they were still into each other then I'd give them my blessing and would never say another word about how wrong and gross and did I mention wrong it is? Mainly though, and don't tell her this, I wanted to protect Lila from any heartache, because if Alex broke up with her then not only would she probably never get over it but I'd lose my best friend. Because if he hurts her, I'm going to have to kill him.

Describe yourself in five words
Son, brother, best friend, super-powered.

Tell us something you've never told anyone else?
I used to sneak Jackie Collins' and er, more erotic books out of the library when I was about 12. Taught me all I needed to know.

Guessing you have a crush on Amber, are we right?
Might be. She's cute. But hey, I'm not exactly ready for a relationship and er, Amber is dealing with her own stuff right now.

Awww I love this interview with Jack, I wasn't even aware that Jack had made this deal with Alex, but it just goes to show how decent Alex is for sticking to it! ;)
