Dusty Reads is a weekly meme, hosted by Xpresso Reads featuring a book that has been sitting unread on our shelves for some time. To participate and more information, click here.
Weird as it is working for the International Paranormal Containment Agency, Evie’s always thought of herself as normal. Sure, her best friend is a mermaid, her ex-boyfriend is a faerie, she's falling for a shape-shifter, and she's the only person who can see through paranormals' glamours, but still. Normal.
Only now paranormals are dying, and Evie's dreams are filled with haunting voices and mysterious prophecies. She soon realizes that there may be a link between her abilities and the sudden rash of deaths. Not only that, but she may very well be at the center of a dark faerie prophecy promising destruction to all paranormal creatures.
So much for normal.
Jess's thoughts: Another one I've had sitting on my shelf for ages. I have the second one at home for review but I obviously can't read it until I read this, so I'll need to get to it at some point in the year. I've heard varied things about this book. Some like it, some don't. It's pretty much got a mix of every creature so it's right up my street! It's just finding the time to get to it.

Anna and the French Kiss
by Stephanie Perkins
Anna is looking forward to her senior year in Atlanta, where she has a great job, a loyal best friend, and a crush on the verge of becoming more. Which is why she is less than thrilled about being shipped off to boarding school in Paris - until she meets Etienne St. Clair: perfect, Parisian (and English and American, which makes for a swoon-worthy accent), and utterly irresistible. The only problem is that he's taken, and Anna might be, too, if anything comes of her almost-relationship back home.
As winter melts into spring, will a year of romantic near - misses end with the French kiss Anna - and readers - have long awaited?
Donna's thoughts: I've had this book on my shelf for nearly a year now and still haven't read it. And although many times I've gone to read it, I ended up picking something else. lol. So maybe 2012 will be the year I finally get to read this book? I hope so!
So that's our Dusty Read's for this week! Don't forget to leave us your thoughts below.
Happy Reading!

I really want to read both of them, especially Anna and The French Kiss. I heard they're awesome, so I think you have to read them soon. Goona wait for your reviews ;)
I have Paranormalcy on my wish list for my Kindle. Don't know when I will get to it there either. I guess at least it's not collecting dust on my shelf (with all the others).
Anna and the French Kiss isn't my usual type of thing, but I've heard so many wonderful things about it that I'm dying to read it. It's been on my TBR since just after Christmas, so hopefully I'll get to it soon :)
Paranormalcy is still dusty on my bookshelf as well. I just read Anna and the French Kiss and it is soooooo gooood! You must read it as soon as you can! You'll love it, I promise :)
