I don’t care what my cousin says; I am not the queen of impossible relationships. I mean, just because my last boyfriend tried to kill me and left a bit of a scar on my neck, then forced me to move across the country and legally change my name to Reese Randall to escape him, does not mean—

Oh, who am I kidding? For a freshman in college, I have to have the worst dating track record ever.

It’s no wonder love is the last thing on my mind when Mason Lowe enters my life. But the chemistry between us is like bam! Our connection defies logic. And he’s just so freaking hot. Being around him makes me feel more alive than I’ve ever felt before. I even like bickering with him. He could be my soul mate...except for one teeny tiny glitch.

He's a gigolo.

Boy, do I know how to pick them.

The Review: I'm no stranger to Linda Kage's work and I have to say with each book that I read from her, they just seem to get better and better, and Price of a Kiss was definitely my favourite so far.

Price of a Kiss follows the life of Reese Randall, a girl who has had a difficult past. So when Mason Lowe enters her life, she realises she doesn't need more drama, however the chemistry between the two is hard to deny. But the problem is, Mason is a gigolo - a well known gigolo - can Reese and Mason really make this work? Or are they doomed from the start?

You all know how much I love New Adult stories and Linda Kage really does work this story well. I've only read once other story involving a gigloo so it's always interesting to see more of this. It's not a story that has been overdone, so honestly, I loved it.

Reese and Mason work so well together. They build up a friendship that neither of them expected - and when things are good, they're good but when things are bad, they're bad. My heart breaks for Mason. He's constantly going back and forth, not knowing which is the best choice for him to make for him and his families future. And just when he thinks he's sorted it out, people drag him back down. Being a gigloo properly looks like an awesome job, but not to Mason. It's something he has no choice in and again, it's heartbreaking to read because of how emotional and despairing his story is. Now Reese, I loved the fact that she took Mason for who he was. She seemed to understand his situation better than anyone and even helped him through some issues. She's definitely a very understanding character, and these two together are just amazing. Although it takes awhile for anything sexual to happen between them, it's still very intense and full of angst - just what I love.

Overall, Price of a Kiss a definitely a NA book you don't want to miss out on. Author Linda Kage writes this story so well and so beautifully!
